This committee is responsible for all projects which support "Young Children Priority One", a program that addresses the needs of young children in the areas of pediatric trauma, safety, child care, early development, maternal and infant health, nutrition, parenting skills and child abuse. The communittee is also to seek out projects that are most needed in our community that support young children from prenatal to 5 years of age and make recommendations of possible projects to the Board of Directors.
Activities: Conducting a "Reading is Fundamental for area pre-schoolers." Works with the I.D.D. program and Tri-County Healthy Start Coaliting and Beds for Babies. Supports Children's Miracle Network.
